I had a really nice dinner tonight. My uncle was in town, and he decided to cook a special dinner for us. It was special indeed. He made roasted beef, lamb, and meat pie. Besides that, he bought an ice cream cake for dessert too! I had one on the most satisfying dinner ever! Hahahaha, I had three rounds of everything, and took a slice of the cake. I was really hungry because I used up loads of energy when I went for a jog in the evening, so this is the perfect way to gain back those energy that I lost
My second brother was at home for the whole day today! Now some of you may ask what's the deal with that, he should always be at home, bla bla bla. I understand. But the thing is, this particular brother of mine, is never around at home! The only time he is ever at home is when its time to sleep. He will always come back like around 3 in the morning, sleep, and wake up like around 4 in the evening, then go out again. He must think this house as his personal hotel or something.
It feels weird to have him home for the whole day. I mean, Im so used being alone in the room and all. And with him here, its like, I dunno, it just feels weird lol
I finally went for a jog today. Didnt go yesterday, as it rained. It did rain today, but it stopped an hour before I left, so the weather was great ^^
Its been over a week since I last went for a jog. I blame the weather, and myself too as sometimes I feel lazy to go for a jog lol. But if it doesnt rain today, Im definitely going. I didnt go for my football session last nite. Im trying to save some money because I need a new monitor, so I decided to not play last nite. I could have my brother pay for my part, but then my knee has been 'locking' up quite frequently, and I didnt want to risk hurting myself ^^;
Anyways, I want to take this opportunity to wish my friend, Haru, a very happy birthday. I hope you have a smashing day today ^^
I didnt sleep at all last nite, since I slept earlier during the evening yesterday. Was playing some games with my eldest bro on the PS2, and when he went to sleep, I managed to watch a movie. I did get some shut eye, for about an hour and a half, before two friends of mine, Eu Jin and Steve dropped by. Eu Jin passed me back my book, and since Steve was in the same class as Eu Jin, decided to tag along. We caught up on old times, had a good laugh, and a great time.
Then one of Eu Jin's friends called to have lunch, and he asked if I wanted to tag along, and I did. Made two new friends just now, and they're both pretty looking girls >_< After lunch, all of us went our seperate ways. I bought my comics, and after paying for those and my phone bill later, Im officially, broke ^^;
Been a while since my last update. Well, I was pretty tied up with my projects and assignments, had little time to update lol. Anyways, I came down with flu today. I spent the night at my grandma's, and I was basically sneezing like nobody's business last nite and the whole of today. My uncle told me to take this medicine that should help with my flu. So I took a tablespoon of the syrup, and within an hour, felt myself feeling sleepy. So I decided to sleep. I was out cold for like 3 hours. I was told by my brother that I didnt even budge when my niece as jumping up and down on my back while I was sleeping lol. When I woke up, the flu was thankfully, gone ^^
I saw the Arsenal game earlier in the morning. We were up against Chelsea. We could have won, but it was a draw, and that has got to be the end of our title dreams. Looks like the title will still remain in London, but at a different place, South London to be exact. Oh well, guess we'll have to try harder next season, and there's still the FA Cup to look up to heh.
Woohoo!!! We're going to the FA Cup finals baby, wooot!!! Im so excited, and I do hope that Arsenal will lift the Cup. This is the only chance of a silverware that they can get this season, after a rather disappointing season. But no worries, we'll bounce back next season, and win the league lol.
I am deprived of sleep. I only slept for like 4 hours just now. All because of my second brother. We were playing this football game on PS2, and I was kicking his ass, and he didnt like it. Everytime I told him Im going to bed, he would always ask me to play one more game. And when I won that game, he'd ask me for another one. I ended up sleeping at 6 sumthing. Sigh, its hard to have a brother who is a sore loser.
I noticed this rather large bruise on my right elbow while I was taking a shower just now. The thing is, I dont even know how I got the bruise, nor do I know when I got the bruise. Looking at the bruise, I thought it would hurt if I were to touch or poke it. But suprisingly, it didnt hurt one bit, not even when I hit it several times. Its really weird how I keep on getting these bruises without me noticing it ^^;
Tonight was the best football session I ever had in a long time. I am utterly satisfied with the way I played ^^ But now, Im tired lol. I think I must have played for an hour without any breaks ^^; I was so hooked on the game, I only realized I was tired and out of breath when I stopped playing. After that, I was desperately looking for my water lol. Drank that, was still thirsty, and I had trouble breathing ^^; So I went outside to get some fresh air, and bought a can of Gatorade. That still wasnt enough, and on the way home, I practically put my head out of the window so that I can get some air. I really felt like dying at that time lol. When I got home, I quickly searched for my 'rehydration salt'. The doctor gave it to me a few months back because of my food poisoning. Thank god I still have another packet. That rehydration salt helped a great deal, and made me less tired heh.
Everyone seems to be tired in class just now. I saw my friend dozing off next to me, and I pointed it out to another friend of mine, and we were having a good laugh about it. Other than that, it was just a normal day for me.
I spent a lot of time with my niece today, as well as last nite. She was in her 'I love uncle' mood, so it was really nice to spend time with her. Usually she'll be like, ignoring me and all. But today was different. She even woke me up early in the morning as soon as she woke up, and ask me to play with her. And she asked me to read her a book last nite too =)
When she is in this kind of mood, I always have fun with her. Her favourite past time is to tickle me until there's no tomorrow hehehee. I think she loves doing that because I always end up screaming like a little girl whenever Im being tickled ^^; There's another thing, she doesnt treat me like an uncle, although she calls me 'Uncle' everytime. She treats me like, Im her older brother (she's 5 by the way). She would always ask for piggyback rides, and basically just enjoy having fun with me =p Im not complaining, because I love her dearly too ^^ Though, she can be a real pain when she's in one of her bad moods ^^;
No matter how many nieces or nephews I'll have in the future, she'll always be my favourite niece ^^
Site is finally back up, yay! There was something wrong with the hardwares of the server, but my friend managed to rectify it. So yea, site is back up lol.
Im starting to get busy with projects now. I need to finish this group project as soon as possible, so that I can concentrate on something else ^^; I would like to thank Irwin, who took the time to teach me about loops in C programming. He was very patient, even though it took numerous examples for me to understand ^^; It must have been frustrating tutoring me, eh Irwin? ^^; But thanks man, Im able to grasp the whole concept of loops now ;)
I had trouble waking up in the morning today. It was raining when I got up, and this was around 6.20am. Since the weather was rather cooling and comfortable at that time, I went back to sleep lol. I only woke up at 6.45am, when I heard my mom banging on my door x_x
Had a rather 'uneventful' day today. I basically lazed around in my room after classes, watching loads of anime lol. Felt really lazy to do anything. I was looking forward to tonight, as tonight is football nite hahhaa. Anyways, football was so-so just now. But I did receive a few 'souvenir' though. I got kicked like, three times on my left shin. The funny thing was, it didnt hurt, not one bit. I felt the first kick, and there was this huge red mark on my shin, but there was no pain. And I wasnt aware of the next ones I receive after that. It was only after the game when my brother pointed to my shin that I noticed that I got kicked there for at least three times. So, I have like three marks on my left shin, and there's a hint of blood on two of them ^^;
I wonder if it'll start hurting when I wake up tomorrow ^^;
I am officially broke. As of now, I have like 200 bucks in my bank account, but in a few weeks, it'll be less than that. I still have to pay my phone bills, and this time I had to pay for two months, since I didnt receive any statements last month x_x With new stocks of comics coming soon, my bank account will reach zero in no time. I knew this day would come, and I even expected it to come sooner. The last pay check that I received was late December last year. I had like, a thousand eight hundred plus, roughly. I manage to make it last for four months, which was not bad lol. So now, I really need to use less money, and save more. But as always, its easier said than done >_< I need a new monitor, as my current one is gonna go bye-bye anytime soon. Besides that, I also need to get a new phone because the one Im using now is showing signs of 'dying'.
Another thing, I read in the newspapers last nite that they are gonna increase the fares for public transports in May. How the hell am I gonna save money like that? Im a frequent user of public transports, so this is a big thing for me. I dont mind the increase in fares, but they ought to do something about the poor conditions of our public transports, especially the busses! If they were to bring in some new ones, then I wont complain one bit.
Today is April Fool's day. I remembered I used to love this day when I was a kid. I would go around trying to fool my friends, which they always fall for lol. But now, its just like any other day for me. I couldnt be bothered to tell a little lie to my friends, plus, they would never buy it anyways heh. Ahh, it sure brings back some sweet memories lol.
I went for a jog today. Was suprised I that I can still do 3 rounds lol. I havent been jogging for more than a week, because its been raining in the evenings most of the time. So, since there was no rain today, I took advantage of the good weather, and took a nice jog hehehe.
