So I finally got to try my hands at baseball, courtesy of “It’s A Hit” batting cages in the 1 Utama Shopping Mall. It’s been a long time coming actually, since I had the intention of trying it. It was back in 2007 that I first thought of trying. I didn’t get to do it then, but this time around, I finally did it.

I didn’t think it’d be that hard hitting the ball, until I was face to face with the machine and the ball coming at me at speed. I swung the bat,  and I missed. A lot of times actually. I cursed to myself silently while waiting for the next ball to come. I did manage to get some hits in here and there, but they were mostly misses hahahaa. I did however, manage to hit the ball with my fists (courtesy of not standing at the correct position). I can still feel the pain whenever I press a particular spot on my right index finger hahah.

After my tokens ran out, I went over to the softball side and tried my luck there. It was better, more hits this time than misses. It wasn’t as thrilling as baseball though. At the end of it, I felt content that I finally took my bow at baseball, albeit after waiting for 3 years. It was pretty fun.

I’ll definitely try it again, and this time around, I won’t wait for another 3 years to do it.
