I first stumbled upon this comic about 3 years ago while going through the “Preview” edition of comics. After reading the summary of it, I knew I just had to get this comic. So I asked my comic shop to reserve it under my account. Now after 3 years, it’s finally finished.

It starts with Superman saving this group of scientists who were exploring the sun (yes, you read it right). Their exploration was sabotaged by Lex Luthor (who else?), who planned this whole scenario out in his bid to destroy Superman. Anyways, Superman managed to save those scientists, but at a price. Being exposed to the sun at a close distance messed up Superman’s cells which literally triples his strength, but at the same time, giving him one year left to live. So the whole 12 issues of All Star Superman is about that 12 months that he has left, which is a pretty interesting read. You can check out the wiki page of it for a summary of all 12 issues.

Personally, I think the last issue could have been better, but I won’t complain much. With the completion of All Star Superman, I have less comics to collect now. I am still trying to find more comics to collect, but there are not many new ones to collect
